SERVICING QUEENSLAND
With ACA the approval process is hassle free
It’s exciting to start the process of building a brand-new home, but it is important to make sure you have the right certifier to see you through the building process. Our certifiers are there with you every step of the way. We will check your plans before the building process to make sure they are compliant with the Building Code of Australia and council regulations. We will then check every stage of the building work starting from the slab stage all the way through to the final inspection to make sure everything is built to plan.

What Do I Need?
It’s easy to get started with the approval process. We just need the following documents to get started:
- A signed engagement form
- DA form 2
- A site plan
- Engineer stamped plans
Get accurate building approval advice and achieve quality outcomes without the hassle.
The Process
Once we receive these documents, we will then reply with all the required paperwork and walk you through any items you may have questions on. If we need to submit the plans to council for a siting variation or a code assessment, we will notify you at this time. (Maybe we can link to our blog about what these are).
Once your plans are approved, we will send you a building approval. Please make sure to read your building approval as it will tell you what stages we need to inspect. Please note, we will need 24 hours’ notice to book in an inspection. When an inspection is completed and passed, we will provide you with a Form 16 Inspection Certificate for your records.
Once all stages of your home/build project are signed-off, we can then issue you with a final certificate (Form 21). This certifies your home has been built to plan and from here you will be able to move into your new home or if you are the builder, you can hand the keys over to the new owner.
