In the tropics, we love the outdoors and the family pool is a standard feature in most backyards, providing hours of fun for children of all ages.

Unfortunately, a horrible occurrence because of our outdoor lifestyle is drowning, which is one of the leading causes of death in Queensland for children under the age of five. This doesn’t need to be the case. By making sure you have a compliant pool fence to protect your children you can ensure that your pool remains a safe place for your family’s fun and enjoyment. Make sure your pool is registered with the Queensland Building Construction Commission (QBCC) by visiting the QBCC search site. To help ensure swimming pools are safe in Queensland for all children, the Queensland Government has created a new set of codes for swimming pool safety which means if you are a home owner, your pool must meet the Queensland Pool Safety Laws. To make sure you are compliant with the new laws you can book one of our licensed pool inspectors to come out and conduct a pool safety inspection. Once you pass the inspection you will receive your pool safety certificate (Form 23) and the peace of mind in knowing your pool fence is compliant.
